I am pleased to announce that the next Annual General Body Meeting of Kerala Association of New Jersey (KANJ) would be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at 3pm, via Zoom conferencing (Details to be published soon)  The meeting will be presided by me- Deepti Nair, President for KANJ 2020.  All KANJ members with membership dues paid in full and in good standing are eligible to attend the general body meeting.  Agenda is as follows:  - Annual Report  -  Baiju Varghese, Secretary - Financial Report  -  Vijesh Karatt, Treasurer - Presidential Address - Deepti Nair -  Election of Executive Committee members (11 Positions) 1.President 2.Secretary 3.Treasurer 4.Vice President 5.Joint Secretary 6.Joint Treasurer 7.Charity Affairs 8.Cultural Affairs 9.Public and Social Affairs 10.Youth Affairs 11.Media and Communications  - Election of Board of Trustees members (1 Position) - Election of Auditor - Any other matters with the approval of the chair - Vote of Thanks   The following team will serve as the election committee for this year.(Please find meeting minutes attached) Mr. Rajimon Abraham (Election Committee Chairperson ) Mr. Jay Kulambil (Election Committee Member) Mr. James George (Election Committee Member)

As per the KANJ Constitution and Bylaws, Article VI, Section 7, Individuals who have been in good standing life membership (see constitution) prior to the date of the election shall be eligible to seek any position in the Executive Committee. Eligibility to vote, nominate or contest in election are afforded only to members (legal age to vote in New Jersey) whose dues are paid and credited to the KANJ bank account at least 60 days prior to the scheduled election.

The date to return the filled and signed nomination form is the 23rd of November (Monday) 2020. Any request to revoke the nomination form should be submitted on or before November 26th (Thursday) 2020.
